Cable/Pipe locators for SUE

TST Engineering offers a service which locates underground services by means of an electronic inductive system (Radiodetection). These instruments allow TST Engineering to pinpoint the plan position and depth of electrical cables, telephone cables and metal pipes. Through the use of probes, TST has the ability to track the position of non-conductor pipes, usually adopted for drainage and sewage and made out of HDPE, PVC, concrete, ect.

The advantage of this system lies in the flexibility of its use and speed for obtaining results.  Electronic detection devices ensure applicability in a wide range of scenarios, from brown fields to urban environments. The investigation phase involves the location and identification of the underground services while tracing and marking the exact position on the ground surface. A detailed topographic survey will then record the position of the buried assets.

This system is used by TST Engineering for identification of buried utilities and as a supplementary investigation to the GPR survey.
