Geographic Information Systems GIS |
|

TST Engineering offers a wide range of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). These geospatial services allow TST to view, process, and analyze data and geographic information.
GIS is able to associate information contained within a specific database with geospatial data. This last one in particular can be related with information surveyed on site. GIS provides for a clear and unambiguous representation of any object typology and classification.
Geospatial data can be acquired using GPS devices, total stations and laser meters integrated with general site surveys.
TST Engineering is able to handle different data types for the development and updating of GIS. Printed maps, digital maps, orthophotos, live video and general images of the area are all processed in order to deliver the most accurate results to our clients.
A wide range of software is used in TST Engineering to further analyze geospatial data. This allows for a continuous implementation and improvement of GIS through the development of the most common programming languages. Data is then available for the most common GIS formats.
TST Engineering’s technicians are committed to developing web applications for GIS information management, providing easy and immediate data sharing. The Web GIS services allow access through an Internet browser to specific projects, allowing for the download of project specific information.
Through the use of GIS, TST Engineering provides the following services:
- Mapping - Conversion of CAD formats to formats supported in the GIS software - Database Development - Spatial analysis - Development of 3D GIS - Development of Web GIS - Secure access to data - Creation of custom GIS
